Lately you probably haven’t seen a lot of updates on this blog about making money online with Niche websites. There is a few reasons why I have been MIA. Firstly I was traveling and spending time with family and friends. Secondly I was burnt out from working on my niche site empire with very little return to show for it. Thirdly I’ve been focusing more on building authority websites which take up a ton of time to write content and setup. So you may be asking yourself why am I on my blog now about Niche income and talking about affiliate marketing. Well the reason why I am talking about it now is because I’ve recently met a guy that has been making a very successful living online through affiliate marketing. In particular PPC arbitrage. I found the chat to be very interesting so I decided to go online and do some digging. Through my readings online I’ve found very super affiliate marketers who have been making upwards of $10,000 per day with affiliate marketing! Very impressive huh? I thought so. I realize that this type of work isn’t for everyone but for someone like me it seems like this could be a great fit. I know a lot about SEO, PPC, keyword research, etc so I think I have a shot at making a bit of money online here. I am not naive in thinking that I’ll make a killing right off the bat. I am going to take it slow and learn the ropes and see where it takes me. If I can make a profit in my first month I’ll definitely be happy. I know it will take some time to ramp up the profits but if I can run at a profit after month #1 I’ll be really happy. So how am I going to make my money online with affiliate marketing? Well that’s a great question. I’ll have to start off somewhere. Firstly I am going to continue to do research about affiliate marketing so I have all the knowledge I think I need before I get started. Then I’ll start researching keywords and campaigns that appear to be converting. At that point I will setup a campaign, setup a domain redirect for the offer, setup some PPC traffic and watch the campaign like a hawk and see if it sticks. I won’t quit too early as I might miss out on a gem of an opportunity if I give up too quickly. However on the other hand I won’t stay too long and lose all my money if the campaign isn’t converting. Once I find something that becomes profitable I’ll slowly scale it to see if I can make more profits. If I can start by making an extra couple hundred dollars a month to start that would be great!
